The apartment has no A/C; however, the apartment has several ceiling fans that keep the apartment quite cool during the hottest days of the summer. *HOSTED* This wonderful and quiet loft apartment is located in an industrial building that was converted to a residential doorman, elevator apartment building. The apartment is EXCELLENT! The apartment has twelve foot beamed high ceilings, white and painted walls, a freestanding columns, air conditioning, oak hardwood floors, and many large windows with views of the Empire State Building. This well designed apartment has a large central open living/dining/kitchen area, and walled-off bedrooms for privacy. The loft is nicely decorated in a comfortable style with contemporary furnishings, artworks, area rugs, and many plants. You enter a foyer, which has a small console with a bookcase on to of it, and a large closet. Off the foyer is the dining area with a large rectangular glass top dining table with matching see-through dining room chairs, a large chandelier that use candles is centered above the table, and an incredible painting by a South American artist frames the dining area. The foyer leads to a spacious fully equipped kitchen that has a beautiful dark cabinetry and black counter-top, gas range/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, stainless steel sink, and a large pass-thru to the living room; which is prefect for serving or entertaining. The living area has a pair of matching leather sofas, and a leather love seat, a large glass-topped coffee table with an area rug underneath with a very contemporary pattern, and a glass console. The rest of the living space has several bar/dining stools near the kitchen pass-through, many works of art, and stereo equipment with CD player. Also, there is a full bathroom with a bath/shower near the foyer. The Master bedroom/B&B room (measures over 25ft x 17ft.) has seven windows with views of the Empire State Building. This spacious and quiet master bedroom suite is very lovely with a comfortable king-size bed, a futon sofa that becomes a double bed, cable TV/VCR, a DSL modem access, a large walk-in-closet, and an en-suite bathroom for extra privacy.
