EAST 41ST STREET Small studio, great location, excellent building. The building has a 24-hour doorman service, a small grocery and food commissary, a dry-cleaner and a coffee shop. The building is excellent and directly above the EAST River. The studio is a pleasantly furnished with a 16' sectional sofa, coffee table, shelves with Cable TV, VCR, DVD, Fax, phone, and answering machine. There is a small bathroom with tub and shower. The kitchen area has a microwave, small refrigerator under countertop, toaster oven, and 2 stovetop burners (no full kitchen). There is a table and chairs opposite the kitchen area. The studio has a Queen-size easy fold down Murphy bed. This apartment has A/C, laundry facilities in the building and is totally equipped - linens, towels, etc. The building is excellent, the location is great, and the studio apartment is small, comfortable, and adequate. This is not a luxurious accommodation, but the price is very good. The Tudor City area is a cluster of Tudor Style hi-rise buildings that are set in a park-like setting. It runs from Second Avenue down to the East River. It is close to the United Nations Complex, Grand Central Station, but because of the setting, it looks and feels like a suburban setting. · EAST 40's WITH TERRACE This is a large, quiet, very charming studio, with a terrace, on the 18th floor of a high-rise, doorman, and elevator building. The views of the Empire State Building and the United Nations are spectacular from the terrace of this apartment. In the studio, is a queen-size Captains bed, and next to this is a large wooden cabinet, which houses the cable TV and VCR. There is a couch near one of the classic, pre-war casement windows, and a glass top round dining table, with chairs, near the other one. The fireplace works and in the winter provides cozy warmth to the apartment. The kitchen is small and has a door, which opens directly onto the terrace. The bathroom has a tub and shower. All linen and towels are provided. There is air conditioning. The terrace is large and has a table and chairs. On a sunny day, you will have a hard time leaving this wonderful spot, with its magnificent views. But if you do, the United Nations is five minutes away, as is Grand Central. You are close to all transportation, either the cross-town bus on 42nd Street, or the subways at Grand Central. You couldn’t be better located than in this quiet gem of an apartment.
