· EAST 70s Between First and Second Avenues This is a comfortable, and simply furnished studio apartment in a TERRIFIC location overlooking a private communal back garden for the building residence. The apartment is on the ground floor, facing the back, in a pre-war, walk-up building. The apartment has high ceilings, white walls, hardwood floors, and air conditioning. There is a small, galley kitchen with a four-burner gas range/no oven, microwave oven, under the counter--refrigerator, and coffee maker. Off the kitchen is a small dining table that expands with two chairs, and bookcase. The rest of the room has a comfortable full futon bed/sofa, a long table, a boom box for music, but no TV, a niche that house a beautiful colored glass collection. Also, the large curtained windows have window guards for extra security. The separate dressing area has plenty of closet space and lead to a white bathroom that is modern and clean with a bath/shower. The owner provides plenty of linen, and towels. Also laundry facilities are around the corner. You will enjoy your stay in this comfortable, sunny, and quiet apartment. The price is great and the neighborhood is very safe! The neighborhood is bustling, and interesting. It is close to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Frick Museum, The Whitney Museum, The East River Park, and Central Park. There are many, many restaurants, boutiques, coffeehouses, bars, and movie houses in the neighborhood! Also, Lenox Hill, Sloan Kettering, and New York Hospitals are close by. The subway is at East 68th Street. The cross-town bus runs on East 72nd Street. · MADISON AVENUE Between 66th and 66th Streets This small studio apartment is located right on the elegant Madison Avenue and is just steps from Fifth Avenue and Central Park. It is on the 5th floor of a beautiful brownstone elevator building surrounded by the most exclusive boutiques, five-star hotels, wonderful restaurants and shops. It is a very quiet and cozy studio apartment, a one room pied-a-terre, designer decorated, with mirrored wall, Queen size bed, polished hardwood floors, high ceilings, modern fully equipped kitchen with microwave, Cable TV/VCR, and local phone use.
